Introducing Miniature Tanks Company
Recently discovered, this company, which was started in 2023, has well over 700 vehicles available in S-scale. They are based in College Place, Washington, and have a 3D-printer farm at their facility. The models are 3D-printed and sold as kits, requiring some assembly and final painting. The company's product line revolves mostly around war-time vehicles, but they also have non-war ones. Needless to say, there are way too many to list here, so if you are interested in vehicles spanning from WWI through to now, take a look at their web site.

Introducing 3dRailroad.com
New to this web site is a company called "3dRailroad", based in Wisconsin. They produce 3D-printed, unpainted, clear resin models in various scales, including a good amount of them in S-scale. The models require no assembly. They are budget-minded, so not necessarily museum-quality. In S-scale, they have 1920s-era and earlier cars and wagons, over a hundred 1950s cars and trucks, container-yard handling trucks, affordable figure sets (including Hollywood-inspired sets with cars), logging and heavy mining equipment models, and modern and WWII military tanks and trucks. Each order is custom printed, so allow one to three weeks before delivery. Please visit their web site, as they have too many models to list here.

New F1 Race Cars by Bburago
3000toys.com announces these models. Bburago is an Italian company that has been making vehicles in other scales, and they are now expanding into the 1:64 world. These models just became available; so new, that they aren't even listed on their own web site yet.
Remote-Controlled Excavator
The project was started by Jonathan Abbott, based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He used Kickstarter to help fund this project. He launched it in January of 2025 and the required funds were reached in 9 minutes! The fully animated, rechargeable, remote-controlled excavator was delivered in December 2025. Luckily for us, he chose 1:64 scale. He intends to manufacture more of these types of models. Based on his success, it sounds like they are sold out, but you can contact him or at least keep an eye on his web site to see if/when he starts another project. His web site has a video of the model in action.
Concrete Truck Kit

Sun Star Models was started in 1993 in Macau to produce diecast and plastic vehicle models. They have been making many larger-scale models, but are now producing 1:64 models. While their web site supports online purchases, U.S.-based dealers offer better prices, so search around. An example dealer is linked to for the Lincoln automobiles.

Iconic Replicas has introduced a number of new S-scale models in recent history. They are a wholesale manufacturer, but you can find these models on many diecast sales web sites.
35' Dry Goods Trailers by ScaleTrains
ScaleTrains announces their first S-scale vehicle or load (depending on how you plan to use them). The 35-foot dry-goods trailers can be pre-ordered now, and are scheduled to arrive in June of 2026. These are the stand-alone models for use in industrial scenes, as extra loads on TOFC cars, or attached to a cab (several companies make die-cast cab units). The bodies are made out of plastic, the tires are rubber, the axles are metal, and the models are very detailed. These are the vertical-posts versions of the trailers, based on the 1997 release of the original S-Helper Service trailers, but with completely new road names. They fit in the late-1920s through the 1960s era. Trailers were limited to 35 feet prior to 1958 east of the Mississippi.

Motorized Chassis by CatzPaw Innovations, LLC
CatzPaws Innovations has two versions of this bare chassis available. One version has just the road-going wheels, and the other version has both those and the rail-going wheels (for road-and-track maintenance-of-way vehicles). Furthermore, you have the option of ordering the fully motorized version (see the first photo) which includes all of the necessary electronics, or the non-motorized version (the second photo) for static models or for with use of the company's InvisaTrax system. The motorized version comes with a 3.7 volts lithium-ion rechargeable battery and a 15rpm motor, which allows for both forward and reverse movements. DCC incorporation is possible by the modeler, and the wheelbase is somewhat flexible. Finally, the modeler can order the STL/3MF files to print the body and parts on their home 3D-printer (be sure to read and follow the license agreement shown on their web site).
Operating Track Inspection Car by CatzPaw Innovations, LLC
CatzPaw Innovations, LLC are living up to their name by continuing to produce unique items. This time around it is a track inspection car that can be operated remotely. Modeled after a photo of the prototype vehicle, this is available in various iterations. The full version includes a motorized model using a rechargeable battery. The rail wheels can be raised and lowered, to allow for both street and track operations. A small remote control is included. Although not included, the model has been designed for the modeler to install a DCC decoder of their choice to convert it to DCC control. Straight and curved track will work, but turnouts may require some tweaking of the vehicles wheels.
A non-motorized version is also available, which can, optionally, be used with the company's InvisaTrax system.
Finally, the modeler can order the STL/3MF files to print the body and parts on their home 3D-printer (be sure to read and follow the license agreement shown on their web site).
Emergency Vehicles by Outland Models
Outland Models announces a new series of emergy vehicles. These are 3D-printed, unpainted models. Outland Models is based in China, so expect shipping delays, but other modelers have been happy with their products.
Hot Wheels to Real Wheels
