This is "Circus" layout by Tom and his wife, Jill, was started in memory of their dear friend Barry Lederer who passed away around 2021. Barry's love was A.C. Gilbert circus trains. He collected them and displayed them, but he never had a layout. When he passed away, Tom and Jill were hoping to acquire his collection for their planned Circus-themed display layout. It was not to be. Then, friends of theirs discovered that a train store appeared to have most of Barry's former items for sale, and so they contacted Tom and Jill right away. They were able to purchase the collection. Some items were already sold, but Tom was able to find appropriate replacements. He also did the usual repair and maintenance work on the items to restore them all to good running condition.
