This section covers everything you might want to know about modeling in three-and-a-half-foot gauge in S. Because that is quite a mouth-full, the gauge is abbreviated as Sn42 (42 inches).

This version of narrow-gauge is defined as the distance of three feet and 6 inches, 42 inches, or 1067mm, between the rails. Railroads based on this gauge can be found in former British Empire countries (e.g. Canada, Australia), South Africa, Japan, and Taiwan.
