The bales are rusted and painted in various colors so that they look like bales of old cars, refrigerators, etc. Photo #2 shows the load in an American Models 52' mill gondola. Ed says that it fits kind of loosely, and he is not 100% sure that the load was manufactured by Saint Charles Model Works, but they do look similar.
