The load was designed for the 52-foot American Models gondola. The bales are rusted and painted in various colors so that they look like bales of old cars, refrigerators, etc. Photo #2 shows the load in an American Models 52' mill gondola. Ed says that it fits kind of loosely, and he is not 100% sure that the load was manufactured by Saint Charles Model Works, but they do look similar. Also covered in the "Loads for S Scale Open Top Cars" article by Ed in the 2010 Fall issue of the 1:64 Modeling Guide magazine.
