This is a brass, unpainted, semi-kit. There is a bit of an interesting story surrounding this model. P-B-L had intended to deliver these fully assembled and painted, but the lawyers of the company after which these models were to be modeled threatened P-B-L with legal action, and so the factory had to remove the paint from the completed models and make then into "kits" to satisfy those lawyers.
