This model was produced by Ertl as a promotional item for a bank. It is flagged as 1:64, but S-scale modeler Earl Tuson measured it and it actually comes out to being closer to 1:57, too large for S, and too small for O. We are just listing it here as an informational note only.

Notes:

The Auburn Motor Company succumbed to the Great Depression, and so the 1937 Cord was the last one ever made. The model was part of the Ertl Collectibles, and is an easy-to-assemble kit, with no glue required (takes about 15 minutes, with the needed tool supplied). The wheels roll freely, but the doors do not open. The roof cover is removable.
