Notes:

The model was produced through 1957 in five variations.
The fifth variation, which is the rarest of all five variations, was produced in 1957. It is painted tuscan over a black shell however, unlike all of the other variations, it has open slats and came in a box marked "1956", "929", and "24072".

Shown in the foreground is a rare 1952 model (painted red) which has the early knuckle couplers that are riveted to the truck assembly. The background model is another variation that came with the standard knuckle couplers and a two-piece brake wheel (one variation is painted red, like the foreground model, and one variation is painted tuscan-red, like the background model). Another variation is identical to the one in the background but used a one-piece brake wheel.

The model on the left shows the typical crimped style knuckle coupler used on the #929 starting in 1953. The car on the right shows the early riveted knuckle coupler used in 1952.
