Notes:
The die to make the 2-6-0 was created by reworking the 2-4-4T die. This was completed by the new owners of Rex Engineering, S&P Distributors. The model is a freelanced one, with a PRR-style cab, Baldwin domes, and Burlington-style headlight. The PRR Belpaire conversion kit was separately available from Rex. The kit consists primarily of high-pressure zamac castings, steel- or brass-tired drive wheels, a Pittman DC-71 open-frame motor, and plastic dummy couplers. Putt Trains re-introduced the model in 2003 both in ready-to-run and kit form. If you want to replace that motor with something more modern, try the Canon CN-22.
