The trucks supplied with the kit were very crude. Other than the four metal observation platform posts, construction of the platform railings is left to the modeler.

Dick Karnes added the air-conditioning ductwork, Nimco trucks, Champ decals, and Kadee couplers. He lettered it for the Pullman-Standard prototype.
