The model could be built with open platforms, vestibule platforms, or fully enclosed ends. There was some confusion as to who actually produced these cars. The cars shown here were made by Kinsman in 1969, which was after owner Bob Blois stopped working for Northeastern Scale Models. Northeastern also produced these cars, but only in HO-scale and they are slightly different from the ones that Kinsman made (Northeastern's cars had two doors in the baggage compartment and a portal window; Ambroid sold these HO-scale NE kits).
