Early in American Hi-Rail's production their shells were imprinted with the Instrument Design, Inc., the owner's parent company. Holt Apgar bought his with the separately-available chassis. Bob Comstock painted and lettered the model. Holt later painted the gold stripes. This car represents a PRR P70 heavyweight coach in its mid-1950s appearance.
