In 2004, the NASG's Special Projects committee commissioned American Models to produce this sleeper car to enhance their line-up of their heavyweight cars. There were several versions released, with this one being painted for the CN paint scheme. The car arrived unlettered, but CN decals were included. However, the original cars were painted with the wrong colors. NASG members were offered a free repainting or a refund when returning the cars. Andy Malette did most of this repainting effort.

Ditto, except it shows the other side of the car.

Properly repainted cars should look like this one. American Models continued to sell these cars after the initial release, and those were all correctly painted.

Notes:

In 2004, the NASG's Special Projects committee commissioned American Models to produce this sleeper car to enhance their line-up of their heavyweight cars. There were several versions released, with this one being painted with the dual-gray paint scheme resembling the NYC's cars. The car arrived unlettered, but NYC decals were included. The reason the car was not factory-lettered is because this paint scheme was also applicable for cars of these railroads: B&M, B&O, C&O, FEC, GM&O, IC, MP, NKP, SAL, and SR.

Bill Winans' model has been slightly modified in that it shows "SLE&P" in the upper right-hand corner, as opposed to "Pullman". The custom decals were produced by Stan Cedarleaf.

This is what the car would look like when the included decals were applied.
