In the real world, these were large wooden interurban cars. Note that the prototype was 10 feet wide, not the more standard (for interurbans) 8-foot width. This has led some people to perceive these S-scale models as being O-scale, but they are indeed true S-scale models. The model includes running lights and Wagner poles.
