Mike Fyten found this September 1947 issue of Model Railroader in his collection, which has an advertisement for the Dayton interurban kit. The wheels on the drives appear to have scale flanges. Accounting for inflation, the $21.50 cost of the kit, in 2020 dollars, would be the equivalent of $251.
