The #(245)65 was produced in 1960 and 1961 in two variations, which are both shown in the photo. The first variation produced in 1960 has sintered-iron trucks and knuckle couplers. The second variation produced in 1961 has Pike-Master trucks and couplers. The 1960 variation in the photo is shown with an original cannon that has hollow shank and a lever on top of the cannon. The cannon in the foreground also has a hollow shank but does not have lever, which was sold by K-Line and made in China. The cannon on the 1961 Pike-Master flat car is the most common reproduction version often seen with this flatcar however it does not have a solid shank and no lever, and it was made in Japan.
