Notes:
This car was produced through 1966 in eight variations. The first four of the eight were all produced in 1958-61 and all had knuckle couplers and utilized a die-cast lamp bracket. The first of these four variations has a red motor generator. The second variation has a yellow motor generator. The third and fourth variations of this group both have yellow generator and die-cast lamp brackets and Pike-Master Couplers. One of these two has the generator secured to the car chassis by means of two screws while the other is secured using a different method. The remaining four variations of the eight were produced from 1962 through 1966, and all have Pike-Master trucks and couplers and steel lamp brackets. Two of these four variations have a black floodlight housing (see the second photo). One has a 1/8" hole in the center of the chassis that appears to have been a chassis that was intended for another use. The other two have white light housings, except one has a gun-metal-gray steel lamp bracket while the second has the standard silver bracket. Note that the light lights up when power is supplied to the rails.
