For this animated unloading-ramp car, when the associated controller button is pressed, the ramp rotates 90 degrees and tilts down, so that the car rolls off of the ramp. Then the ramp returns back to its normal position. Track Section #712 is required for this operation. This is the knuckle coupler version of #715. It was produced from 1953 through 1957. Most had a black and red body with a yellow ramp. The one pictured with the grey body with a maroon ramp is the less common one. The top surface of the body has painted "American Flyer Lines" on one end and "915" on the other end. The car usually came with a plastic sports car, or a gas tank truck (as pictured), but, as with the 715, other loads are also known to exist.
