The #21813 Baldwin switcher was produced in 1958 and again in 1960 as uncataloged items. The two variations include the 1958 model that has a footplate that extends from the bottom of the steps and an unpainted aluminum frame, shown in the photo (and Photo #2). The 1960 model is the second variation, which lacks the footplate on the bottom of the steps. In addition, the #21813 has a black painted aluminum frame. Finally, the #21813 has a manual reversing function as indicated by the silver metal lever that protrudes through the side just above the fuel tanks that can be seen in the photo.
