Notes:

Available as Type I with closed-spaced cupola windows (D&RGW and others), and Type II (Frisco) with wide-spaced cupola windows. These models were imported by Overland (part #OMI-4006) and distributed by Modern Models. This was the only product the company ever produced. The models feature underbody details, Barber swing-motion roller-bearing equalized trucks, sliding cupola windows, operating end doors, interior details for the cupola, and additional detailing parts.

The original, factory-painted but undecorated model.

Holt Apgar decorated his model for the D&H. He repainted it into the 1959 delivery scheme for D&H #35710 through 35719, from builder Int'l Car Co. The roof, end-rails, ladders, roof-walk, and hand-rails were brush-painted with Testors Model Master enamels. Decals came from Microscale. The lights, lanterns, and a two-man crew were parts from S-Helper Service.
