Mick describes the kit as being very similar to Quality Craft's O-scale version of this car, except for the O-scale car has four castings for the cupola, whereas the Pennsy Mainline Models' S-scale version used scribed siding which the modeler had to cut to create the window openings. Since no S-scale version of the PRR trucks exists, Mick used a pair of American Models trucks on his model.
