Note:

This society received Sam Powell's layout which was donated to them by Sam's wife, Elaine. While Sam did not live in Pennsylvania, he modeled the Pittsburgh area, so it was a good fit for the Society to take this project on. The Society has a number of S-scale modelers in its midst and in the area, to help with the installation and operation of the layout. There have been a couple of articles published about the act of moving this layout, namely the September 2016 issue of the NASG Dispatch (pg. 32), the May 2017 issue of the Dispatch (pg. 22), the July 2017 issue of the Dispatch (pg. 8), and the September 2020 issue of the Dispatch (pg. 18).
