This scene is set in the yard of the PRSL's West Deptford, New Jersey shops on Bill Lane's layout. An S-Helper Service SW1, recently painted and lettered for Conrail by Bill, moves a group of cabooses via the mainline around the yard. The decals for the locomotive were custom-made by Circus City Decals & Graphics.

All four of the cabooses are brass models which Bill painted and lettered over the years. The last caboose, the Conrail N8, is a model that was produced by SouthWind Models. The other cabooses are all models produced by Overland Models. Road numbers 22139 (a Conrail N-20) and 21692 (a Conrail N-7) were models Bill painted for Don Thompson, then co-owner of S-Helper Service, back in the 1990s. When Don retired and downsized, Bill bought the models. Don visits Bill's layout from time to time, so he still gets to see his models running on a layout.

Bill's layout is a large oval with mainlines made out of S-Helper Service code 139 track. The non-mainline track is all Tomalco Track flextrack, with turnouts by them and others, all code 100. The S-scale flextrack is now produced by Micro Engineering.
