The lower level track uses A.C. Gilbert's track system, with the turnout mechanisms hidden under the track. Bob discovered S-Helper Service track when he started working on the middle and upper levels, so he used that with a mixture of American Models and Tom's Turnout turnouts in those two levels. The lower level remain A.C. Gilbert primarily because of its operating accessories.
