Wood frame, aluminum sides and ends. The shorter models were made for AF-style layouts. The models were described in the January 2005 issue of the S Gaugian. The models came with sponge-rubber full-width diaphragms, but those all deteriorated over time. The kits also included celluloid for the windows.

Notes:

Wood frame, aluminum sides and ends. Passenger car kits from Chester Industrial Arts were the paragon of simplicity. Items added to this car not included with the kit were: trucks, couplers, lettering, and the individual paper roof overlays. Trucks are by Enhorning. Dick built this car in around 1953.
