Simon Parent designed the kit for this engine, and Fred Rouse, of S Scale Locomotive & Supply, provided the parts. Simon then built and super-detailed the kit into the model shown here for Trevor. The kit is based on the CNR #86 prototype engine, but it has a slightly different tender and headlight.
