The Baldwin "Sharknose" RF-16 kit A-unit, shown in the photo, consisted of a urethane body shell, brass investment-cast detail parts (at the time from SouthWind, but now available from B.T.S.), brass wire, sheet steel drilled and tapped chassis, SouthWind sprung brass trucks (in kit form), NorthWest Short Line drive components, and a Sagami motor. Dick built this model, which included using MV lenses, Microscale decals, and Kadee S-scale couplers. Dick wrote an article about the model in the December 1997 issue of the S/Sn3 Modeling Guide magazine.
