P-B-L's first imported Sn3 locomotive. 120 models were manufactured in 1980, in both the 1930s and the 1940s versions. Another run was done in 1991. Photo #2 shows the "1949" version.

The 1981 run was manufactured by Samhongsa, Seoul, Korea. The production run was as follows: #452 1930s version: 32 models. #452 1940s version: 35 models. #455 pre-wreck, post-wreck: 37 models. #463 "90th anniversary": 30 models. #464 1940s version: 48 models. The 1986 run available unpainted, and factory-painted and lettered using C-D-S dry transfers. In the June 2011 issue of the NASG's The Dispatch (page 11) Dave Heine reviews this model, and provides some historical information about the prototype K-27. Another run was done in 1989, again in 1999, and another run was done in 2003. These were built by Samhongsa in Seoul, Korea.

The 1930s and 1940s versions were imported in 1988 and again in 2003. Manufactured by Samhongsa, Seoul, Korea. They were available in unpainted, painted, and "foreground" versions. A photo of #476 running on Bob Kuchar's Sn3 layout can be seen on page 81 of the April 1996 issue of Model Railroader magazine.
