Manufacturer:Miniature Machine
Road Name:Sierra Railroad (SRR)
Road Number:18
Model Introduced:1985
Product Type:Brass
The model uses code 110 wheels manufactured to the NMRA RP-4 standards. The locomotive was all brass with a resin tender/frame. This was a "spartan" locomotive where the buyer had to add all of the detail parts to the basic engine. It did come ready-to-run and was painted gold. The prototype for this model was the Sierra Railroad #18, a 1906 Baldwin that served as the Sierra's second movie engine until retired in 1953. There were 20 models produced by Miniature Machine. This particular model was bought by Bob from the Jack Troxell estate.
