This is a 50' single-door box car. The TS car was the 1994 NMRA/PCR special car. The convention car numbers were 501, 508, 510, and 522. A second run of this car was done later, which included road numbers 503 and 517 only (trivia: the first run does not have a bore in the center for mounting the small gear on a shaft; the second run does). The straight sill was tabbed, and other details were added by Bill. An etched roof walk has been installed. The kit was was not designed with a roof walk in mind. No brake platform or supports were in the kit either, as this car was designed to represent the time after roof walks were outlawed, and short ladders and brake wheel parts were included.

The trucks on the model are by American Models, and the couplers are Kadee S-scale 802. PRS part number B-411 offered two of these cars in a set.
