This was a craftsman kit of many wood parts to built this GN plywood-paneled caboose. The kit included decals. The trucks added were from the Culp Bros., of the Bettendorf type with leaf springs, replacing the coils for a better ride. Kadee HO-scale couplers were used at the time this model was built. This model is near identical to the GN caboose shown under the Kinsman Scale Models name (the roof ends are slightly different).
