These 70-ton cars were built between 1940 and 1945. The kit includes a one-piece urethane underframe, details, steel weight (hidden in centersill during assembly), laser-cut deck, wire, decals, and Kadee 802 couplers. Trucks are not included. Ed's model was painted and decorated for the B&O class P-24. He added 6 Ertl John Deere Model 620 farm tractors for its load. The model, as shown, now weighs 11 ounces.

Erie/AAR. Riveted. This model was made in Korea by Duck Yoo Corp, and was sold unpainted. One hundred models were produced. Ed sprayed black Testors paint, and applied HO-scale decals, then added Kadee #802 couplers. Still needing to be done to this model at the time of the photograph is a weathering of the deck and spraying of Testors Dullcote. Photo #2 shows Bill's model painted and lettered for his private railroad.
