The November 2022 issue of Railroad Model Craftsman features to total of 16 pages of S-scale content. This includes counting the front cover (Brooks Stover's lead photo) and the back of the front cover (NASG/AM ad). The magazine's main feature article is an 8-page affair covering Brooks' current layout. The "Company Photographer" column holds another 6 pages of S-scale content. Wow!
Jim Martin has written an article for the May 2022 issue of Railroad Model Craftsman (RMC) called "Solving S Scale's Identity Problem". Also found in that issue is the new inside-the-front-cover page ad by the NASG.
The S Scale Resource digital magazine is looking for articles for their upcoming issues. They are looking for content including, but not limited to, the following:
Layout articles and photos
If you are not a writer, they will send you a questions sheet, where all you do is answer the questions and submit it with your pictures. They'll do the rest.
Workbench pictures and articles
What are you working on?
In the middle of a project?
Let us follow along with you. There is some really nice work being shown on Groups.io and Facebook, but they would love to turn it into a how-to article to share with a wider audience.
This is the only scale magazine for scale S and they need our help to make it grow.

Gary Kohler announces that he is considering publishing a new magazine devoted to two-foot gauge. The tentative title is Two-Foot Annual. He intends for it to cover all forms of two-foot narrow-gauge, both prototype and models, and in all scales. Currently the plan is to do one issue per year, but if there is interest, two per year could be possible. There would be minimal advertising in it, and it would be sold directly only (i.e. not available in local stores).
First, if you would be interested in such a magazine, please drop Gary an e-mail to let him get a feel for what level of interest there would be. Second, Gary is currently soliciting drawings, plans, layout articles, etc., so contact him if you would like to submit material.

We announced the Lionel 2022 catalog a few weeks ago, but this webmaster, yours truly, was unable to view the catalog. After much examining and trying out things, it turns out that the catalog is only available on the non-secure version of Lionel's web site. I am using the Firefox web browser and have it set up to automatically use the secure version of a web site if such a version is available, and so I wasn't able to view the catalog. However, I was able to use the outdated Microsoft Explorer web browser to visit the non-secure version of the Lionel web site, and was then able to view the catalog. If you have been having a similar problem, you might try that. Both versions of the link are provided below.
