The author describes how to replace a split/worn gear in this locomotive using a replacement part from NWSL. He also describes how to add weight to the tender, to keep if from derailing on curves that are a bit too tight for the model.
The author takes a non-running 2-8-2 custom-made model and converts it into a 2-8-0 PRR H10. He describes his process and shows several construction photos.
