The museum's non-portable layout measures 10' x 22' using S-Helper Service track, and runs American Models equipment. The club has other S-scale displays as well. There is an in-depth article about the museum in the May/June 2016 issue of the Dispatch. The club was spun off of the Altoona Area Train Collectors Club in June 2000. The club moved to their new address in September, 2019.
